Mel Swart-Lake Gibson Conservation Park sign

The Niagara Woodcarvers Association took on this community service project in 2000.Howard Bogusat, Bob Hagadorn, Walt Eggleton and Bob Purdie carved and painted the sign for the Mel Swart-Lake Gibson Conservation park in Thorold, Ontario. Nancy McIntosh of McArt Co. Inc is to be praised for the excellent design.

This sign is a relief carving with incised letters. It was carved of sign foam, painted green with letters and details painted using sign lettering enamel.

This sign was erected at the Park in October 2000.
